Sulebas New Build
In this project, we based our bridge solution on the shipowner’s desire to have a modern arrangement with only flat screens in front of the bridge consoles. In addition to these screens in the bridge’s main control position, there was to be one workstation in the port bridge and one in the aft bridge.
Both of these would have a number of screens each. A key element of our bridge solution is therefore the integration of a large video matrix. The video matrix allows the user to freely choose an image from any source, presented on any screen – on the entire bridge.
The video matrix has programmable hotkeys for screen configurations, so that pre-stored layouts for different work operations, such as fish-finding and navigation, can be recalled quickly.
The design of the bridge and roof consoles, their mutual alignment and the placement of instruments have been carefully considered.
They are laid out so that all important controls and panels are within easy reach and can be operated comfortably from the skipper’s chair.
All monitors are set up at a comfortable reading distance.
In addition, the bridge and roof consoles are designed so that there is an unobstructed view out the bridge windows when sitting in the skipper’s chair.
